Coopertown Police Welcomes Two New Officers

On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, Coopertown Police swore in two new officers. The department would like to welcome Officer Austin Zumbroegel and Officer Matthew Day to the family. Both Officers are Ohio natives and bring a wealth of experience and skill to the team. Officer Day is a veteran of the U. S. Army and has many years of law enforcement experience. Officer Zumbroegel is a former firefighter and armed guard.

Officer Austin Zumbroegel was sworn in on September 1, 2021.
Officer Matthew Day was sworn in on September 1, 2021.

Both officers will be going through a comprehensive field training program and will attend the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA). Please help us welcome Officer Day and Officer Zumbroegel to Coopertown. Feel free to say hello to them if you see them in the community.
