Help us welcome a new officer to Coopertown. Officer Adam King was sworn in on June 2nd by Coopertown Police Chief Haley. Officer King began his law enforcement career in Colorado before moving to Tennessee. Upon becoming POST-certified in Tennessee, he worked for the Austin Peay State University Police as a Corporal. He is a welcome addition to the Coopertown Police Department and is currently undergoing an extensive field training program. Feel free to say hello to Officer King and extend a warm welcome to Coopertown if you see him out and about.
