Through the collaboration of local faith-based organizations,\u00a0Faith & Blue<\/a>\u00a0was established to directly enable local relationships between law enforcement professionals, residents, businesses, and community groups, thereby facilitating safer, stronger, more just, and cohesive communities (Faith & Blue, 2021). Coopertown Police Department will be participating in the\u00a0Faith & Blue<\/a>\u00a0initiative by hosting a food drive to benefit the\u00a0United Ministries Food Bank of Robertson County<\/a>\u00a0on Sunday, October 13, 2023, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm, at\u00a0Providence Baptist Church<\/a>\u00a0in Coopertown (map<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The event is free and open to everyone. This\u00a0Faith & Blue<\/a>\u00a0event gives the community the opportunity to speak one-on-one with officers from Coopertown Police Department, all while helping those in need by donating to the\u00a0United Ministries Food Bank of Robertson County<\/a>.<\/p>\n
