Riders will rally at Coopertown Middle School\, located at 3820 TN-49\, Coopertown\, TN\, before rolling out for a beautiful ride into Kentucky. Registration for the event starts at 8:00 a.m.\, with kickstands up at 10:00 a.m. During the ride\, the riders will stop for lunch in Russellville\, Kentucky before returning to Coopertown. Prizes will be raffled off during lunch and at the conclusion of the ride. \n \nThanks to the kind donations from Cycle Gear\, Depot Bar & Grill\, Hinkle Chair Company\, and TopGolf\, riders are eligible to win raffle prizes. SUMMARY:Coopertown Police Host 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck
DESCRIPTION:Coopertown\, Tennessee  Our annual Touch-A-Truck event is coming up again! Adults and kids of all ages can get a close-up look at the vehicles and equipment used by Coopertown’s fire\, EMS\, law enforcement\, and other first responder or rescue services at this event. It’s also a great way to meet the people that protect and serve our city. The first Coopertown event took place on September 25\, 2021\, when Coopertown celebrated its 25th anniversary at Coopertown Middle School\, and the Coopertown Police Department hosted its First Annual Touch-A-Truck event. The Sixth Annual Touch-A-Truck event is coming to Coopertown Elementary School on Saturday\, September 19\, 2026\, from 10 am to 2 pm. \n  \n  \n\n\nMany agencies have been invited to attend this year’s event. However\, their participation in the event may depend on available resources\, call volume and/or weather conditions. This year’s list of invited agencies includes the Bureau of Alcohol\, Tobacco\, and Firearms (ATF)\, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI)\, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP)\, Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT)\, Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO)\, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA)\, Robertson County Emergency Communications District (E911)\, Robertson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO)\, Robertson County Emergency Management Agency (EMA)\, Robertson County Emergency Medical Services (EMS)\, Robertson County Animal Control (RCAC)\, and Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department (PVVFD).   \n  \n  \n \n  \nNot only do the event visitors get to check out all of the interesting vehicles and equipment on display\, but there will be lots of activities for everyone. Hungry and thirsty visitors will be able to purchase some food and refreshments provided by Chick-Fil-A\, and Kona Ice. As with all of our events\, Coopertown Police will be accepting donations at our tent to help support our annual Shop-With-A-Cop program\, ensuring disadvantaged children receive gifts for the Christmas season. \nWe would also like to recognize Reeve’s Septic Tank Service for providing outdoor restroom facilities for this event. \nMark your calendars! This Faith & Blue event gives the community the opportunity to speak one-on-one with officers from Coopertown Police Department\, all while helping those in need by donating to the United Ministries Food Bank of Robertson County.

DESCRIPTION:Coopertown Police will be in Oak Pointe subdivision on Halloween to meet all the trick-or-treaters and hand out candy. \n**Oak Pointe visitors and residents entering the neighborhood from Hwy 49 W onto Oak Pointe Dr will be directed to turn right onto Kacie Dr. Oak Pointe Dr\, west of Kacie Dr\, will be one-way traffic headed east. Kacie Dr will be two-way traffic.  Motorists on Oak Pointe Dr\, east of Kacie Dr\, will not be allowed to turn left onto Kacie Dr. Anyone needing to access 1000-1037 Kacie Dr should enter Kacie Dr from Hwy 49 W\, not Oak Pointe Dr. Due to increased pedestrian traffic\, this helps with the flow of traffic while keeping our little ones safe.** \n  \n \n \n**Attention Oak Pointe Residents and Halloween Visitors**We are looking forward to seeing all the ghosts and ghouls this coming Halloween. As usual\, we set up on the corner of Kacie Dr and Oak Pointe Dr to hand out candy. Due to the increased pedestrian traffic in this area during this time\, we re-route vehicle traffic at that intersection to help ensure everyone is able to get through the neighborhood safer.Once traffic begins picking up on Halloween\, we will make Oak Pointe Dr (west of Kacie Dr) a one way street at the intersection of Kacie Dr and Oak Pointe Dr. Vehicles entering the neighborhood from Hwy 49W onto Oak Pointe Dr will be forced to turn right onto Kacie Dr. Locations on Oak Pointe Dr\, west of Kacie Dr (4023-4078 Oak Pointe Dr)\, may accessible from Brandon Way. Anyone wishing to access Kacie Dr\, south of Oak Pointe Dr (1000-1037 Kacie Dr)\, should consider entering Kacie Dr from Hwy 49W\, instead of Oak Pointe Dr. This traffic pattern will remain until Halloween traffic begins to thin out.We understand this creates a minor inconvenience for some motorists. However\, we want everyone to enjoy a safe Halloween. Please help us by planning ahead and letting your guests know the best route to your residence for Halloween.
