SUMMARY:Coopertown Police Host 6th Annual Touch-A-Truck
DESCRIPTION:Coopertown\, Tennessee  Our annual Touch-A-Truck event is coming up again! Adults and kids of all ages can get a close-up look at the vehicles and equipment used by Coopertown’s fire\, EMS\, law enforcement\, and other first responder or rescue services at this event. It’s also a great way to meet the people that protect and serve our city. The first Coopertown event took place on September 25\, 2021\, when Coopertown celebrated its 25th anniversary at Coopertown Middle School\, and the Coopertown Police Department hosted its First Annual Touch-A-Truck event. The Sixth Annual Touch-A-Truck event is coming to Coopertown Elementary School on Saturday\, September 19\, 2026\, from 10 am to 2 pm. \n  \n  \n\n\nMany agencies have been invited to attend this year’s event. However\, their participation in the event may depend on available resources\, call volume and/or weather conditions. This year’s list of invited agencies includes the Bureau of Alcohol\, Tobacco\, and Firearms (ATF)\, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI)\, Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP)\, Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT)\, Tennessee Highway Safety Office (THSO)\, Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA)\, Robertson County Emergency Communications District (E911)\, Robertson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO)\, Robertson County Emergency Management Agency (EMA)\, Robertson County Emergency Medical Services (EMS)\, Robertson County Animal Control (RCAC)\, and Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department (PVVFD).   \n  \n  \n \n  \nNot only do the event visitors get to check out all of the interesting vehicles and equipment on display\, but there will be lots of activities for everyone. Hungry and thirsty visitors will be able to purchase some food and refreshments provided by Chick-Fil-A\, and Kona Ice. As with all of our events\, Coopertown Police will be accepting donations at our tent to help support our annual Shop-With-A-Cop program\, ensuring disadvantaged children receive gifts for the Christmas season. \nWe would also like to recognize Reeve’s Septic Tank Service for providing outdoor restroom facilities for this event. \nMark your calendars! Coopertown Police Department will be participating in the Faith & Blue initiative by hosting a food drive to benefit the United Ministries Food Bank of Robertson County on Sunday\, October 11\, 2026\, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm\, at Providence Baptist Church in Coopertown (map). \nThe event is free and open to everyone. This Faith & Blue event gives the community the opportunity to speak one-on-one with officers from Coopertown Police Department\, all while helping those in need by donating to the United Ministries Food Bank of Robertson County.

DESCRIPTION:By popular demand\, Coopertown Police is hosting a fall motorcycle ride to benefit the agency’s Shop-With-A-Cop program. The Coopertown Police Ride4Kidz Fall Event is set for Saturday\, October 17\, 2026. Riders will rally at Coopertown Middle School\, located at 3820 TN-49\, Coopertown\, TN\, before rolling out for a beautiful ride into Kentucky. Registration for the event starts at 8:00 a.m.\, with kickstands up at 10:00 a.m. During the ride\, the riders will stop for lunch in Russellville\, Kentucky before returning to Coopertown. Prizes will be raffled off during lunch and at the conclusion of the ride. \nMark your calendars. More information to come soon.
