Halloween at Oak Pointe with Coopertown Police

Coopertown Police will be in Oak Pointe subdivision on Halloween to meet all the trick-or-treaters and hand out candy.

**Oak Pointe visitors and residents entering the neighborhood from Hwy 49 W onto Oak Pointe Dr will be directed to turn right onto Kacie Dr. Oak Pointe Dr, west of Kacie Dr, will be one-way traffic headed east. Kacie Dr will be two-way traffic.  Motorists on Oak Pointe Dr, east of Kacie Dr, will not be allowed to turn left onto Kacie Dr. Anyone needing to access 1000-1037 Kacie Dr should enter Kacie Dr from Hwy 49 W, not Oak Pointe Dr. Due to increased pedestrian traffic, this helps with the flow of traffic while keeping our little ones safe.**

**Attention Oak Pointe Residents and Halloween Visitors**
We are looking forward to seeing all the ghosts and ghouls this coming Halloween. As usual, we set up on the corner of Kacie Dr and Oak Pointe Dr to hand out candy. Due to the increased pedestrian traffic in this area during this time, we re-route vehicle traffic at that intersection to help ensure everyone is able to get through the neighborhood safer.

Once traffic begins picking up on Halloween, we will make Oak Pointe Dr (west of Kacie Dr) a one way street at the intersection of Kacie Dr and Oak Pointe Dr. Vehicles entering the neighborhood from Hwy 49W onto Oak Pointe Dr will be forced to turn right onto Kacie Dr. Locations on Oak Pointe Dr, west of Kacie Dr (4023-4078 Oak Pointe Dr), may accessible from Brandon Way. Anyone wishing to access Kacie Dr, south of Oak Pointe Dr (1000-1037 Kacie Dr), should consider entering Kacie Dr from Hwy 49W, instead of Oak Pointe Dr. This traffic pattern will remain until Halloween traffic begins to thin out.
