Coopertown Police Welcomes New Officer

Coopertown, Tennessee

Please help us welcome another officer to the Coopertown community as the Coopertown Police Department continues to grow. Officer Andrew Schad was sworn in on August 7th by Coopertown Police Chief Haley. Officer Schad is a veteran of the United States Army. Since joining the Coopertown Police Department at the end of July, Schad has been preparing for the academy and getting acclimated to the department. Starting on September 28th, Officer Schad will attend the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy (TLETA), and after completing the academy, he will undergo an extensive field training program. Feel free to say hello to Officer Schad and extend a warm welcome to Coopertown if you see him out and about.
